Planning for Christmas Together

Planning is already underway to make Christmas in Heywood a success, with local partners beginning to explore ideas and opportunities for the festive season.

The Heywood Plan, which brings together partners to deliver the aims of the Government-funded Pride in Place (PIP) programme, is working with Township colleagues, businesses and community organisations to coordinate activity across the town centre.

Christmas is an important opportunity to increase footfall, support local businesses and showcase everything that makes Heywood special. Whether through events, promotions, decorations or community activities, we're keen to ensure local businesses have opportunities to get involved.

As plans develop, we'll be looking for ideas and contributions from across the town, helping create a festive programme that benefits businesses, residents and visitors alike.
